 Popular Nigerian music star Davido and his partner Chioma Rowland have captivated fans on social media with their glamorous outfits ahead of their wedding ceremony.

 

                                                                          

                                                                  Early days

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and Chioma Rowland, aka Chef Chi, first met at Babcock University, where Davido graduated in 2014. Chioma was a student at the time, and although they didn't reveal the exact year they started dating, Davido claimed in an interview that they had known each other for 20 years, having grown up together and being inseparable.

However, their relationship became public knowledge in 2015, the same year Davido welcomed his first child, Imade Adeleke, with his baby mama, Sophia Momodu. Despite the challenges, that came with being in the public eye, the couple remained committed to each other.

Meanwhile, in 2018, Davido's hit song Assurance solidified their relationship. It had a wedding-themed video that left fans speculating about their marital status. Also, the couple welcomed their first child together, Ifeanyi Adeleke, in 2019.

                                               

The proposal

Surprisingly, Davido proposed to Chioma in 2019 in London, UK, after several years of dating. He shared the news on social media, posting a photo of her diamond ring. The engagement was a surprise to fans, but their love story has been a public favorite. The proposal showed Davido's commitment to Chioma, inspiring many.
